It is a beneficial to think in the now – in other words to practice Mindfulness. Mindfulness helps with mental health – but also helps with solving problems.
If I get stuck with a problem, the best answer is to get up and go outside for a walk – and practice mindfulness for an hour. When I get back, I always have a different perspective.
I often realize I was pushing the wrong solution; I change my approach and quickly solve the problem. Our unconscious brains are smarter than our conscious ones. We just need to understand how to use them.
